Uma's Latest Stats
- Status: Uma has been home now for over one year, since 3 June 2008. She's crawling and standing up and every once in awhile tries to let go of the couch or table to test her balance. She's curious and determined and loves to laugh.
- Weight: hm...is it safe to 7kg yet? I don't like to sit on the scale anymore when I go to the doctor.
- Height: surely something like 70 cm.
- Head Circumference: 44 cm, as of 6 April

introducing uma valareja
I was born on 8 January 2008 at 12:01 CET in Ljubljana, Slovenia, at 26 weeks and 4 days gestational age. I weighed 445 grams, which means that I was just about 1 lb! I was 26.5 cm (10.6 inches) long and my head circumference was 21.5 cm (8.6 inches). I was in the newborn intensive care unit in Ljubljana for 21 weeks before I came home. Now I am 15 months old (12 months corrected) and weigh 6.5 kg!

Hi, my Sweet Beautiful Baby Girl. How's Grandma Dee's little angel doing? It's just so great to be able to see all of the photos of you, MommaJ and DaddyG. I love reading what you are up to and what new things you are accomplishing. You are such a blessing to my spirit and soul. I love your wide eyed look, your bright gaze, and your sweet face.
