today i was just interested in sleeping. when mama and daddy came to visit, i barely woke up to say hello. it was just one of those days where i didn't even feel like having too much stimulation. mama and daddy noticed the signs and respected my need for a little space. it felt nice, though, when they put their hands on my legs and hip to help support me to sleep in a fetal position. sometimes, i put my hand on my chest to help calm myself as well.
the doctor says that the bacteria infection is all gone and that i'm breathing better, too. they stopped the High Frequency Ventilation (HFV) and just had me on classical ventilation (SIPPV + HG). hopefully soon i'll get to have kangaroo time again with mama or daddy.
i'm already eating 9 ml of mama's milk at every meal (every 3 hours ...).
today i weigh 830 grams (about 1 lb, 14 oz).
